The Filters

RitchieCam has 18 filters to choose from! Inspired by film, I crafted these filters to have an analog essence. None of them are intended to mimic any specific film exactly; instead, they’re made to produce analog-like memory color. These filters have a retro vibe, and you’re sure to find at least one that compliments your style. Three are available for free—Standard Film, Analog Color, and B&W Negative; unlock the other 15 by becoming a RitchieCam Patron today!

Standard Film

Standard Film is an all-around filter that does very well for a variety of situations and subjects. Great for landscapes, portraits, still-life, indoors, sunshine, overcast, and more. Inspired by several positive film emulsions.

Analog Color

Analog Color is versatile filter that works well with a variety of subjects and situations, producing a soft nostalgic color negative film aesthetic. Good for daytime pictures, both indoors and outdoors.

Vibrant Color

Vibrant Color is for when you want bold pictures. Colorful and contrasty, this filter will produce striking images. Although not quite as versatile as some of the other filters, this one does surprisingly well in a variety of situations.

Color Negative

Color Negative was inspired by color negative film, and could be a great go-to option for everyday photography. This filter does well in both indoor and outdoor daytime light.

Color Negative Low

Color Negative Low is similar to the Color Negative filter, but with less contrast and lower saturation for a slightly softer look. This filter does well in both indoor and outdoor daytime light.

Analog Gold

Analog Gold was inspired by Kodak emulsions, and produces a nostalgic analog aesthetic that’s both soft and warm. Good for daytime pictures, both indoors and outdoors.

Night Negative

Night Negative has a cool color cast similar to Tungsten film, making it a top option for after-dark and artificial-light situations.

Instant Color 1

Instant Color 1 has a nostalgic instant-film aesthetic roughly reminiscent of classic Polaroid SX-70 pictures. This filter does well in both indoor and outdoor daytime light.

Instant Color 2

Instant Color 2 has a nostalgic instant-film aesthetic roughly reminiscent of Polaroid classic Type 661 and Type 669 pictures. Because of the cool color cast of this filter, it is a good option for nighttime and indoor artificial light situations, but also produces interesting results during daytime.

Instant Color 3

Instant Color 3 has a nostalgic instant-film aesthetic roughly reminiscent of classic Polaroid Type 679 and Type 690 pictures. This filter does well in both indoor and outdoor daytime light.

Faded Film

Faded Film was inspired by photographic prints that have begun to fade with a slight color shift. Good for daytime pictures, both indoors and outdoors.
